Sorry for the theme redesign in the last 24 hours, I’ve gone alittle crazy and must have redesign my theme about 50,000 times
For now, this is it. Um, at least for the next 24 hours.

Today was the first time I ran in about 6 1/2 months. Thinking about it right now is really emotional for me. I use to run, alot, at least 4 days a week, 4-6 miles each time. Since my layoff in December, I just found it really hard to be motivated or find the time.
Well, today,as I was putting the kids to bed, I thought to myself, this is going to be the day to put on my running shoes again. I mapped out the route in my head and as soon as they were out, I ran around getting my music, change clothes and put on my shoes. After a few stretches, I took off. It was hard at first, I won’t lie. Damn hard. But what motivated me was 1.) the music, 2.) a mental picture of Mary (MorethanMary) in my head, and just feeling that groove again.
I ran 4.29 miles in about 40ish minutes and felt great! The goal is to do a half marathon by the end of the year!
Been thinking a lot about my weight lately. It has been 2 years since I had Chloe and I really want to lose the last 5 lbs. I mean, its not hard, just needs to have discipline. Starting on Monday, I will do do the following:
1.) Do not drink a bottle of wine each night. So bad for the waistline and my wallet.
2.) Avoid all things chocolate. It stinks that my son like chocolate so much. I always have a healthy supplies of chocolate at home.
3.) Eat the kids leftovers and call it a meal. Mac N cheese, chocolate ice cream, and waffles with Aunt Jemina syrup can not be consumed.
4.) Eat crazy amount of rice and/or bread.
5.) Cheese. So good yet so bad
Just a few days ago, the kids had their 2 year old and 4 year old checkup. Both kids lost a couple of pounds. Chloe is 32% in weight and Nicholas is 47%. Both are 70% in height. So basically, they got lean and tall. My point is these kids eat an insane diet of high carb and high in fat foods. They also eat every hour. All day, I feel like my only job is to read to them and feed them. So to explain number 3, we can not eat the same foods.
If I can just avoid the guidelines above, I can drop the weight easily. Now, if I take up running again, that would be even better.
You got to love the power of the internet. How and where else can you browse and shop at all hours of the day? The best way for me to wind down the day is to do some window shopping on the computer. I much prefer this than hitting the mall. I love how items are catagorized and orderly laid out. I am one of those shopper that hates browsing through the rack. And since having two toddlers, I hate it even more.
