Last night Nicholas had a hard time falling asleep. It’s rare as he gets up pretty early for school weekdays and is usually out by bedtime. I was in the office when he came in and the first thing he did was crawl into my lap for a snuggle.
Though he is only 6, he is pass my chest in height and is over 50lbs. I LOVE that he is still very affection with me, which I am grateful for but physically, it was awkward. I held him anyway and we spent some time watching funny animal videos on youtube. When I told him it was time to go to bed, he said that he just wanted to stay in my arms forever. Oh man, it totally made me sad.
